my recent surge back into kpop

So recently I've been listening to a lot of kpop thanks to a few suggestions and pleasant surprises. First it was 2pm when I found out I knew someone in the band and now its the wonder girls. Both bands are catchy and fun to listen to. on that note there has been a surge of publicity regarding the leader of 2pm, Park Jaebeom (Jay Park).

Earlier this year, a comment surfaced from his MySpace page where he expressed some negative comments about Korea and its citizens. After the comments surfaced, the korean population was outraged and wanted Jaebeom out of the group and even out of the country. They were so angered that there was a rally in front of the record label JYP entertainment where thousands gathered to protest against Jaebeom. Now, Jaebeom is back in America at his parents in the state of Washington. This has gotten so big even the local news reported a story on it. Fans all over the world are pleading for him to come back to the band and even ahs gone as far as holding flash mobs in places like Korea, Singapore and Malaysia. These groups of fans would begin dancing the choreography of the band's popular song "Again and Agian" when the clock strikes.. you guessed it, exactly 2:00 PM. Fans of Jaebeom in America all stress how this anger and hatred is childish, immature, outraegous and that the Korean public is overreacting. In some ways I think they are right because as humans we do ridiculous things. The comments were from when he first arrived in Korea in 2005 to train at the JYP Academy. Though Jaebeom is Korean, he was born and raised in Seattle, WA and didn't even speak a word of English when he went to Korea. Being alone in a country as foreign to him as any other non-Korean he most likely started having withdrawals and became homesick. His parents and friends were thousands of miles away so like any other emotional teenager, they resort to expressing their dislikes online.

It is truly unfortunate that his beginning frustrations came back to bite him but in all honesty it was a pretty dumb mistake. Some say that it was an invasion of privacy well its not really privacy if you set your account to public or add tons of fans as friends and giving them full access. Being such a big hit in Korea, diehard fans would for sure add him on MySpace and then try to learn as much as they can about him to further their obsession. It was only a matter of time until those comments became public. For all those who believe the Koreans are overreacting, ask yourself what would you do if one of our own celebrities said that in America. If Shakira ever said anything negative about the U.S. the American public would react just the same and rally against her. American flags would start flying up everywhere and thousands would start telling her to get out of this country. You think you wouldn't react like that but this didn't happen in your backyard did it? We all hear stories and think we would react differently but in reality, human responses are pretty much the same throughout the board. If the Beatles had ever said they hated America or Americans we would've sent him on the first place back to Liverpool. If Jackie Chan ever said anything we'd all tell him to go back to China. It's just how people are. When someone offends your home territory you automatically get angry and fight back. This is just human nature.

With all that said, I believe it will be nearly impossible for him to go back without hostility unless he has such a strong following that they out number the haters. The chances of that are slim and JYP as a company will probably not risk having all the fans split with his return. In the end, they are a business built on making young and attractive kids stars (Disney anyone?). I wish the best for Jay but if I were him I'd start looking into other venues.

vampire insanity

Within the last year or so there has been an uproar of vampire shows and movies. Everyone is just sucking up all these shows (pun oh so intended). First there was twilight, a novel series that was a virtual overnight sensation along with its movie(s). Shows like True Blood and Vampire Diaries have swept the young "tweens" of this generation. Need I say enough already?

the day the earth stood still on blu-ray

recently i rented this movie from my work. i watched it over the weekend and you know what? this movie isn't half bad. it didn't get the greatest reviews and i can see why but i think the overall impending story was quite touching. if you haven't seen it already then don't read on. so the overall premise of the movie is that, this alien race came down to earth and is going to eradicate the human race because we're destroying the planet. i guess u can say they mean us no harm but of course the U.S. government in all its wisdom is just going to treat them hostile anyway and actually escalates the situation. the overall message of the story was pretty interesting and what not but so many things were so confusing or unnecessary. for instance in the beginning you see keanu reeves in the arctic somewhere and he first encounters the aliens. nothing really happens to him except that his hand gets a weird mark. fast forward to modern day and the aliens return. the aliens present themselves to the humans and what does one of these trigger happy morons do? shoots it.. they eventually reveal that the alien is using a human body they made themselves that evidently looks like keanu reeves. first thought is that keanu mustve been kidnapped right? no because the alien is only using the body and in the movie the doctor says the human body was probably made and it needed human DNA so the aliens were here once before which we know is true. but was it necessary to show keanu's encounter and mark signifying that he was the 'sample' these aliens took? nope. in fact you could've just left it at what the doctor said and it would've been all gravy. i spent 1/2 the movie thinking keanu was abducted and was sent back 80 some odd years later brainwashed. another part i didn't like was will smith's kid in the movie. the kid was a complete brat and made just want to smack him. which means he did a good job acting and gives a good performance but man that kid was just SO aggravating. in the end, the aliens decide not to kill the humans because they convince them humans can change when pushed to the threshold, which is exactly what the aliens did when they were face with the same dilemma of their own demise. after the movie ends, pretty much everything is left up in the air. we know that the human race lives on but do they change? do they relay the message to the rest of humanity that they need stop harming the planet? what happens to that secretary of defense when the main character gets to tell her 'told you so' and watch that smug face turn white? this movie couldve been so much more if they had just thought it through but now it is only an OK movie

District 9

After hearing all of the rave reviews about this movie I knew I had to see this movie for myself. I also found out that this movie originally was supposed to be the Halo movie but Peter Jackson abandoned that. Anyways, this movie was needless to say AWESOME. A very heart pounding and heart felt movie from beginning to end. The cinematography made a bit dizzy at some parts but made it seem so much more real. On top of that I found out they worked on a $30 million budget which is almost unheard of for sci fi movies. The usual price tag for these bad boys are over $100 million. The actor who was the main protagonist did an amazing job and I heard its his first big role as well. Like all movies, there were some plot holes but it didn't stop this movie from being as epic as everyone said it is. This movie definitely bring a different kind of message with humans being the main antagonists against aliens. For so long, we've always been afraid of aliens and yet this movie turns it around. It goes to show how humans treat things/people we don't know or understand. I recommend this movie 100%. Any fool saying this movie sucks is either too critical or has crap for brains.

people who do not knwo anything about cars

recently i was on facebook and one of my old schoolmates had recently bought himself a new car. he was a pretty smart guy so i figured he wouldn't make a bad decision when buying a good car. how wrong i was. he had decided to buy a hyundai sedona which regardless of what is on paper or surverys or research, a korean car is death. nothing against the koreans but its just their cars are horrible. the best part about this were his moron friends that were commenting how they were 'jealous' and how its 'a nice car'. sure you don't want to be mean but jealous? really? its like wanting new and good cookware and getting the target brand. sure in the beginning it looks good but give it 5 years and its going to be OVER. i was quite tempted to be like 'WTF were you thinking when you bought this car? did you not consult ANYONE who knows about cars?' to me a car is a BIG investment since it can only depreciate. cars are meant to wear down and will never last so why the hell would you buy a car that is absolutely rubbish? if you want a NEW car and can't afford a better one then keep saving OR get a used car that is better. i seriously do not understand people who just want a new car and get something that is horrible.

1 year and 2 days

i cannot believe i have been home for 367 days or 1 year and 2 days. i remember when i first moved home i was quite depressed and hated being back here. the last thing i wanted was to move back in with my parents. sure there are a lot of benefits and what not but there are still so many things that comes with being on your own. but i wont get into that. since i've been home God has taught me a lot of things about myself and what He wants in my life. i realized that i was destined to move home and that was always his plan anyways. i spent 3 months looking for a job in socal and NOTHING. i come home for 2 weeks and i start working. call me crazy but i'm pretty sure that is a sign. even then i was still unsatisfied and wanted something else. once again i was humbled and my eyes opened to what is now something i LOVE doing. i've realized that being happy where i am is probably the most important thing in life as to just making money. if i wanted to make more i would be working for my older brother, but i would be absolutely miserable. and i was for the short amount of time i was there. misery filled my life day in and out.

now after a year i stand here at another junction in life. at work there is a possibility for me to move up in my department, but being the person with the least amount of experience i have a very slim chance of getting it. though my manager tells me that it will all be based on my interview i cannot help but think that wont be all that they are going to decide on. i know i am still young and have a lot ahead of me. in fact i think i am the youngest of all the applicants so even if i do not get it i still have time to look elsewhere and wait for my turn. it has been nerve racking to think about but i have to just leave it to God to show me the way.

Watchmen

yesterday i decided to pick the Watchmen on blu-ray. i must say this movie was pretty amazing. [spoiler alert] i was really impressed at how zack snyder captured the comic so well (i don't give a crap if you call it a 'graphic novel', thats like saying a research journal is a thin text book). i think i was a little taken back by how dark this was. i knew it wasn't you typical comic book story but HOLY CRAP. the overall story was pretty good i guess even though i think like over half the movie it was just the characters talking about their past. yeah thats interesting and all but i was more interested in the fighting. i keep trying to think of things that are wrong with it but i can't really think of any amazingly. the fighting is epic, silk silhouette is HOT. mr. manhattan did have a little too much wang showing going and the sex scene b/t nite owl and silk silhouette was like a porn scene. i cant wait til my new tv comes so i can get the 60hz (cuz 120hz is too shaky) and 1080p going on

Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince

after being forced to wait an extra 8-9 months for this movie to come out. i was quite excited to finally see the next installment in the harry potter series. as i remember, the 6th book wasnt the greatest, it added a lot of mystery to the whole saga and set up the 7th book. sadly, this movie failed to do that. [spoiler alert] the whole point of the book was 3 things: 1 - to find out who is the half blood prince, 2 - to find out what draco malfoy is doing, and 3 - learning more about voldemort while he was at hogwarts and before he came to power. the movie focused on two things, first was finding out what malfoy was up to and second was all the love triangles forming. it was like a teen romance in the wizarding world. the director changed and left out a lot of things that i'm sure a lot of the audience wanted to see. for instance finding about marvolo's ring and how tom riddle got his name! how can they leave out the entire gaunt family?!?! also they never showed another memory of how tom riddle wanted the defense against the dark arts job. and lastly i was very unhappy with the ending, there was supposed to be a big battle between the death eaters that entered the castle and the rest of the students. but they completely cut that part out and it seemed like the death eaters were in there for nothing except to kill dumbledore. overall id say the movie was just ok at best. the most fun part was probably the quidditch but they didnt chant 'weasley is our king' which ticked me off again. sigh... damn these directors.

Transformers 2

so a few nights ago I watched Tranformers 2 despite all the bad reviews and you know what, i'm kinda indifferent. People who say that there is too much action is ridiculous because action is what this move is about. no one goes to listen to a compelling story which moves us. we go to watch giant robots duke it out. i do wish that the camera would pull back so we can actually see whats going on but i'm assuming that kind of cinematography is done because if it was just shown in its entirety itd be pretty dull. plus i think it adds a sense of urgency and danger to make the audience like they're in the fight almost. i know there couldve been compromise between the two but oh well. the story itself was interesting but could there BE more plot holes? is it really that freaking hard to write a story where anyone with a high school education could see more than half of the concepts are just absolutely ridiculous [spoiler alert] such as how megatron can be revived by the piece of all spark but optimus cannot for some reason and instead needs the matrix. that is just one of the many things i found wrong with the story. if you are in debate to go watch this movie, i suggest on making sure WHY you are going. if you are going to expect something epic then dont go. if you are expecting for some crazy story plot, dont go. however if you just want to see a lot of transformers battling it out then go see it

the death of the greatest pop star that ever lived

June 25, 2009 marks one of the darkest days in pop culture history with the death of the one and only Michael Jackson. When I first heard about this I was in utter shock and could not believe the artist I grew up listening to is gone. I remember the first time I saw one of his concerts on TV. It was when PPV first became popular so my older brother and I decided to watch it. It was by far one of the most epic concerts I have ever seen to date with incredible light shows, exotic animals and even some magic going on. I taped it and watched it many times over until the tape itself finally wore out. Then came Moonwalker which still ranks to be one of my favorite movies. Sure it was kinda cheezy and all but when you have your idol transforming into a car and into some kind of robot/plane thing. Its freaking awesome. He didn't even need weapons but used his powerful scream to shatter everything around him. It was disappointing to see his life fall apart with all of the molestation scandals, ridiculous plastic surgery, and never ending excuses he gave for wanting to be white. Aside from all that, his career paved a way very few and possibly no one can follow. As a child, the Jackson 5 stormed the charts and were icons all over the world. Most artists who try break away from their group band beginnings don't always do as well they once did. But Michael proved everyone wrong and now olds and probably forever will hold the record for the most records sold for one album which is Thriller. There are dozens of copy cats today who want to mirror his success but there are still none to do so. Maybe the only person to come remotely close is Justin Timberlake but we have not heard much from him in quite a while. You will be missed.

PC vs Mac... or technically Windows vs Mac

for quite some time now, there has been an on going debate of which computer is better. PCs or Macs.. for those who know nothing of comps.. in terms of hardware, there is nothing really different between the two. all computers are composed of the same basic components which is motherboard, power supply, hard drive, and optical drive (CD/DVD). other extras are video cards, sound cards, and anything else people wanna add to make their computer perform better. so in the end the REAL argument is between the operating systems you choose to use which is Windows or Mac OS. i believe there are pros and cons to both, and to say one is absolutely greater than the other is pretty ridiculous. both operating systems offer features the other doesnt.

here is an article of a web programmer's opinion and i have to say its probably the best presentation.

Electronic Entertainment Expo 2009 aka E3 2009

since working for the video game industry i had the privilege of going to E3, the world's biggest gaming convention. was i excited? OH YES. being extremely exclusive to industry professionals only and not open to the public, i felt quite special. when i got in i was absolutely amazed at all the lights and exhibits.. as ben and i started walking around, i wanted to see what other industries were also there... and the most i saw was gamespot... GAME SPOT! WTF.. so mank bloody kids there thinking they're all the shiznit rubbing elbows with the people who actually make a difference in the gaming industry. though i have to admit if i was in their position i would be feel great but i would hide the spot on my badge where it says what company im from. that aside, after seeing all the trailers, seeing the exhibits, and playing some demos.. E3 was not as great was i thought itd be. it seriously is just a place full of fanboys who just love everything... all in all id say e3 is pretty damn overrated. i mean it was nice being there and being a part of it but it seriously was not that exciting. too many horny nerds there wanting pictures with the unattractive boothbabes and obnoxious executives who think they are gods or something... overall.. id rather go to blizzcon

proof that america's education fails

so i was watching jay leno's last night at the tonite show on his last show he had a 'the best of jaywalking' which is jay walking around asking U.S. citizens extremely basic questions about the world in general. and it is basically a compilation of the dumbest found on the face of this earth. most of the questions are amazingly easy, i admit there are some i don't know such as completing some common phrases where i have just never heard of some of these and obviously other people as well. but there are just SOME questions as americans we should know. a common question jay asks is who is the first president of the united states... you would think EVERY person that has been eduacted in the US for at least 1 year would know that question. but amazingly they don't! its like ARE YOU SERIOUS? sometimes some people are just nervous and just blurt out the first thing on their head and realize they just didnt think so they laugh it off. thats ok.. but there are some people who are like 'yes, thats the answer' typ of attitude and im like 'wow... please go back to the 3rd grade!' and then there are other things like some pretty common vocabulary like 'who wrote the autobiography of malcom x' and the fool says he doesnt know?!?! UHHHH AUTObiography you moron.. he wrote it himself. sigh.. it just amazes me how uneducated people really are with such BASIC knowledge that the general american SHOULD know. of course i understand the comedy bit takes the dumbest mofos they can find, but why do i get the feeling its not that hard for em to find these mofos. if my kids are ever like this im gonna slit my wrist

come with me if you want to live

i wish an extremely good director and writers said that to the terminator franchise for the fourth installment Terminator: Salvation. this film was not a total bust, in fact i enjoyed it a lot. but there were so many things in it i just did not think was necessary. (spoiler alert) the second they introduced that they were fighting the t600 and the t800 was still in development, i think its pretty obvious that the is not going to end in this movie even though all the trailers kept hinting it might. some things i didnt like was that there was not actual WAR going.. only little fights here and there where there is ONE terminator... mmm where are the scenes from t1, t2, and t3 where you see like an army of terminators walking around killing people? why are the humans still using bullets when terminators have laser tech and it seems like in the old movies humans have laser rifles too! not only are they using bullets, but they are just regular bullets.. not even armor piercing. did everyone forget they're fighting metal cyborgs? what is up with terminators wearing clothes? some have shoes! one even had a bandana/turbin thing going on! WTF?! makes no sense. seems the machines know a lot about nearly everything, and what i mean is that how would they know john connor is a big threat to them? hes not a general and not even part of the high chain of command. he's just some platoon leader. according to the other movies, john connor doesnt become a threat until he is the leader of the resistance and then thats where all the movies begin. with that said, somehow they know john connor is special, and SOMEHOW they know kyle reese is his father because the machines somehow KNEW john connor was coming!?! because throughout the whole thing, they were looking for kyle reese and then singled him out w/ all those prisoners. and if they knew kyle reese was some form of key, why didnt they just kill him right then and there... that will end just end all that is kyle reese and john connor. last complaint is why do the terminators just throw people around. they obviously have the power to shove there arm rm or something but instead lets just chuck em around. the fight scenes over all was cool, good action and all.. but the story.. WTF

Star Trek

'Live long and prosper.'

and i will spock i will, especially after watching this movie. couldnt be a better movie to be honest. so amazing in nearly all aspects. i had pretty high expectations for this puppy and it definitely exceeded all of em. for a cast full of actors who aren't even on the A list so to say like brad pitt, halle berry, george clooney, and whoever else you can think of thats considered A list. instead u got mostly supporting actors like john cho (harold of harold and kumar). however all the stars perform amazingly well. there wasnt a single part where i wasnt just SO captivated by either the CG or attached to the characters. the ONLY part i wish they added was some of their training in star fleet. it was like one second they're all cadets and the next everyone is going to war.. what is with that? aside from that, LOVED IT

Xbox 360 vs PS3

after working in the gaming industry for the past few months, i've realized a lot of things between the two competing next generation consoles, the xbox 360 and ps3. each console has its pros and cons in the epic battle of which is supreme.

i used to think the 360 was better because it was a lot cheaper and had a lot of good games on it, such as gears of war and halo. if i really had to compare the two over a long period of time, i believe the ps3 will win out and is much more worth your money.

so lets start w/ the ps3.. people say that the ps3 is a waste w/o an HDTV which is true since its all blu ray. so we're just going to assume here that you already have an HDTV for both consoles.

a 160GB ps3 slim right now is retailed at $300 and comes wireless ready, standard AV cables, free PSN membership and one recharable controller w/USB cable.

a 4gb 360 slim right now is retailed at $200 and comes with 1 controller, 1 headset, composite AV cables, wireless ready, and one month Gold membership for LIVE.

already it seems 360 is better with it being $100 less. in the beginning it may seem 360 is better but lets see this in the LONG run say... 5 years.

for the 360. lets assume you're not going to be replace batteries in the controllers like a mad man and will be getting recharable batteries, which is aproximately $15 (4pack) and then the charger which is another $20. extra controllers are $50 each. of course you have to play online so 12+1 months of gold membership is $60. so for a full system, rechargable batteries for all controllers, and on going LIVE acct for 5 years..
-initial system $200
-3 more controllers $150
-rechargable batteries + charger ($15x2)=$30 + $20 = $50
-LIVE for 5 years = $250
so for the 5 years alone of using a 360 equates to $650+ given that you bought everything retail.

for the ps3. no need for extra batteries because ps3 controllers come recharable. online? psn is free and now there is PSN plus for a fee but not necessary like xbox. the ps3 can support up 7 controllers at once so lets say you're nuts and get the rest of em which is $50 each. so in the first 3 years its going to be..
-initial system $300
-6 more controllers $300
all together its goin to be $600 for the 5 years.

in just 5 years you spend around $100 dollars less if not more. chances are you're not going to get 7 controllers, in fact you'll probably just get 3 more at most which will be $150 less so in 5 years you spend $150 less if not more. on top of that with the 360, you have to keep paying for LIVE... so every year you will be shelling out more just to play online.

now this all according to retail price.. i'm sure you can get cheaper deals on BOTH through whatever means and numbers can vary but in the end, the one that will one win out is ps3 with its recharable controllers, free psn, and BLU RAY!!! so everyone out there, do yourself a favor and get a ps3. it might hurt more initially but in the end, its A LOT more worth it.

x-men origins: wolverine

last night i caught the new xmen movie about wolverine's past. i didn't know what to expect with such mixed reviews about the movie. after watching it, it is actually quite good. there were a lot of things i didn't like but i felt it was quite enjoyable. *spoiler alert* the things i didn't like was deadpool and silverfox. deadpool was made right up until they sowed his mouth and gave him psyclops' powers.. WTF is up with that? its one thing to change the story but to change an entire character is RIDICULOUS. then he has swords coming out of his arms like wolverines claws??? WTF is with that? where do the swords go when they are inside him? if he bends his arms it cuts right through! and how does someone live with his head chopped off? that made no sense whatsoever. and then theres silverfox, overall i loved her but the part i didnt like was how she died. it was super cheesy and just not well planned out. she shouldve died right after they reveal to her that she betrayed wolverine. lastly, i didnt like how wolverine lost his memories. i know he has to but they seriously used the dumbest way to do it. in the comic they messed with his memories while he was getting his adamantium skeleton and while he gets other experiments on him. but i was still entertained and the action was fun to watch. gambit was basically a nothing character that was in there purely because of popular demand. all in all id say go see it if u wanna

fast and furious 4

last night i watched the newest fast and furious movie (downloaded). i heard it was pretty bad and i pretty low expectations. all i wanted to see from the movie was cars. at the end of the movie, i kinda liked it actually. it was definitely a lot more dramatic than the other movies. fnf1 were all cars from random ppl and racing teams. fnf2 was all mitsubishi w/ the spyder and evo. tokyo drift was also nissan and mistubishi, another evo and not 1 but 2 350Zs.. number 4 had a lot of nissans too actually, a 240, all the cars paul walker picked were GTRs and one of the racers was a 240 as well. at least there was a lot of american cars AND a sti. seems like nissan will never be apart from the fnf series. all in all id say the newest installment is not bad.

southLAnd

today i watched the first episode to the new tv show southLAnd. it stars a lot of actors that were basically supporting actors in other tv shows and movies, and noob actors. first we have ben mackenzie who is most well known from the OC. his partner/veteran cop is from a number of stuff, i remember him from band of brothers. there's a bunch of other actors/actresses that i dont know their name to but have seen em around. they even have the chick from deuce bigalow. anyways, on to the show, its basically a crime drama about crimes and blah, pretty interesting and gripping i guess. first episode was bout 2 crimes, an abduction and a drive by shooting. they were pretty interesting except the detective for the kidnapping was pretty freaking stupid. i dont know how many 'years' her character has been working as a detective but there seems to be a lot she doesnt really know that would seem remotely basic to other detectives.. just some basic know hows and what not. all in all id say its a decent show and im gonna keep watching it. hulu has the first 3 episodes up.

What the governator spend our money doing...

today at work, my coworker sent out an email about how ARnold is still trying to outlaw violent video games in the state of california. what this will do is to make it against the law for minors to purchase or rent games deemed 'violent'. its funny since this is what the ESRB was created for and right now no one under 17 can buy an M rated game. 2 federal courts have already deemed it unconstitutional and now he wants to take it to the supreme court where it will most likely again be deemed unconstitutional. aside from this being the most ridiculous thing ever.. the biggest problem here is ARnold spending all this money on something that is insignificant when he is taking money away from our schools and our dying economy. it is clear electing ARnold to be our govenor was a bad idea and to trust an austrian with our state mustve been one of the dumbest thing we could do. am i being a little racist? yeaa... do i care? no... in the end we're at fault for choosing an austrian body builder turned movie star to govern our state. if you would like to speak out against ARnold and his incompetence then you can go to videogamevoters.org

late night with jimmy fallon and abdc

now that i'm all better i can actually write something interesting...

recently jimmy fallon started his new show as the host of late night replacing conan because he's going to the tonight show. i have to say that jimmy fallon as a writer... sucks. sadly to say his skits and monologues are just horrible. if he does write em then get someone else and for goodness sake learn how to deliver a joke. however, his guests are pretty dang good. with him already being pretty famous and being his first season, i'm sure a lot of stars who are old friends are going to come on, but this might or might not last. the good thing bout this show is that fallon is pretty good at interviewing guests and doing impromptu jokes. i'd say thats his strongest suit. he's more funny when things just come up. my favorite episodes would probably be the ones with tina fey, mike meyers, bill hader, ice-t, elmo (yes elmo) and anna kournikova (so hot). there are other good ones too but those are my favorite.
late night with jimmy fallon hulu

for those of you who watched abdc season 3, you were probably either a beatfreaks or quest fan. and for ONCE, the best two teams were actually on top in the end unlike season 1 with status quo (BLAH) and the entirety of season 2. now with season 3... personally i think quest WAY deserved to win. not saying beat freaks were bad, by all means they are QUITE good. the magic ball dance, their first dance, their britney; all GREAT performances. but it seems like the one thing they lacked was bringing in their own flavor in as bgirls. they did what the challenges wanted and then some but in the end where was beatfreaks in there?? with quest, they did the challenge and would always add their tricks and their own quest flavor. i'd say the hiphop decathalon screwed the beatfreaks over. they jus did the dances (some werent even that good) and that was it. even their katy perry dance was better, they did that routine with the bats and then one girl was walking on her hands and the other girl did head spins.. that was an amazing performance. what happened to em in the decathalon??? see with quest, they brought it like no one's business, amazing tutting section, threading was ok, waving was fun and creative, krumpin.. (i dont even know why thats in there) was full of energy. and then dtrix comes out w/ air flares on his elbows! you can't make this stuff up! i love both teams, and both are great but it was clear that quest was better. plus... quest is all asian and a lot of em are fomr norcal!! REPRESENT!

First Post

For the first post, I shall be discussing what this blog will be for. This will be simply something where I will be sharing things about my life and other things I encounter publicly. A lot will be my opinion and may offend someone who reads this. If that is the case I apologize but then again I'm entitled to my opinion so if you don't like, start your own freaking blog. In here, I will post anything from interesting articles, videos, pictures or random crap I find. I will review video games, movies and all other sorts of entertainment. Most likely I will go as far as just speaking out of my butt on whatever pops into my huge head (not referring to my intelligence, but I just have HUGE head.. 24in circumference O_O)

So I shall now talk about my newly acquired addiction.. Killzone 2. When I played the first Killzone on PS2. It was ok at best. Controls were sloppy and the story was sub par. Now with Killz0ne 2 it seems to be 50x more fun. Either the game is just THAT much better or its the fact that we're in the next gen console era with all of the online play and lovely little trophies to get. Regardless, its an awesome game. I recommend to all that are into FPS

Neat site that I found on digg.com about 64 things a geek should know and you should know too
